Points to consider

The elite track is groomed for both classic and skate skiing.
The recreational track is groomed for classic skiing.
Both tracks are open to everyone and are used by elite athletes, training groups, and recreational skiers. However, please note that from 08:00 to 10:00, the elite track is exclusively open to elite athletes/national teams.
The illuminated tracks are lit from 06:00 to 22:00 every day.
Walking in the tracks is not allowed.
Dogs are not allowed on the tracks during the preseason (up to and including December 20th).

Biathlon training at Race Arena Ski Stadium

Race Arena Ski Stadium attracts biathletes from all over the world with its excellent training facilities, tracks, and shooting range. With its meticulously groomed tracks and authentic facilities, it is an ideal location for training and competitions.

Good to Know

At least 2.2 kilometers of well-groomed tracks during the preseason.
Two training sessions per day, typically one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Training sessions are held daily from 08:30 to 10:00, 10:30 to 12:00, and 15:30 to 17:00.
The first 30 minutes of each training session are reserved for shooting practice.
The morning session from 08:00 to 10:00 is primarily reserved for scheduled national teams as per the schedule.
We aim to limit each ski biathlete group to a maximum of three athletes per lane.
We reserve the right to merge groups to accommodate everyone.
Teams are responsible for setting up and removing mats and placing rifle stands outside the groomed area after training.
Race Arena maintains the shooting range daily during the preseason. During winter/summer, athletes are responsible for painting and placing paper targets.
The schedule is sent directly via email to the contact person for the booked club/athlete. We also provide updates and any changes on our Facebook page "Idre Fjäll Race Arena Ski Stadium" that affect everyone.
Free skiing areas are available if there is sufficient snow cover and low occupancy.
During certain weekends, there may be restrictions due to competitions.
Please respect your training times and follow the instructions of Race Arena's staff on-site.

Cross-Country Ski Training at Race Arena Ski Stadium

Race Arena Ski Stadium is a well-known and popular cross-country ski arena with high-quality snow, well-groomed tracks, and excellent services. It offers fantastic training opportunities for both junior and elite skiers.

Track pass

For the entire season

Season pass track pass is available with a club discount until December 20, 2023.

During the period from October 20 to November 5

Track pass can be purchased at the regular price directly on idrefjall.se/en/skipass

During the period from November 6 to December 20

Track pass can be purchased with a 20% club discount (1-15 days) online through a link you'll receive from us by emailing your accommodation booking number.
Track pass can be purchased with a 20% club discount (1-15 days) by email for groups if all bookings for the entire club are consolidated into a single booking (+39 SEK invoice fee).

During the period from December 21 to April 7

Track pass can be purchased at the regular price directly on idrefjall.se/en/skipass

Shooting Range

A fee of 100 SEK per lane per day applies for the use of the shooting range (maximum 3 people per lane).

Meals

You can book individual meals or full board at the Värdshuset restaurant. We recommend making your reservation at least 21 days before arrival. Prices are available in the price list, and you can make your booking via email.

Other Services

Do you need skis, gym access, conference rooms, or perhaps training assistance? We can arrange most things to make your training trip as good as possible. Contact us via email for price information and bookings.

Extra favorable booking conditions

When you book with trip cancellation protection for trips arriving during the preseason, we offer exceptionally generous booking conditions. For instance, you can cancel without a medical certificate up to 21 days before arrival!
