Idrefjällen Golf Course, ranked as the best in Dalarna and among Sweden’s top 50 by "Svensk Golf", offers a stunning, rolling forest course set in a breathtaking mountain landscape. Designed by Bengt Lorichs, it is both challenging and diverse, with Hole 16 recognized as one of Sweden’s most beautiful.

Along the course, you might spot reindeer or refill your bottle in a fresh mountain stream. And yes, a ball in a bear track gets a free drop!

To Play at our Golf Course

Idrefjällens golf club welcomes all guests with a membership in a golf club and a "green card" (golf proficiency certificate) to play.

Golf Handicap Courses

Are you interested in obtaining a golf handicap card? Do it at Idrefjällens Golf Club! Equipment rental, free practice balls, and literature are included. The course runs for three days (two hours per day). We also offer courses for more experienced golfers.

The Golf Restaurant

Everyone is welcome to the golf restaurant – even if you don't play golf. The restaurant serves a selection of lighter as well as more nutritious dishes such as a selection of salads, baked potatoes with filling, various hamburgers, and more. And coffee, drinks, beer, and wine. After nine holes, you can easily replenish your energy with a coffee, sandwich, or hot dog.

The restaurant is open from Swedish Midsummer to the end of September.

Club House, Shop and Rentals

At the club house there is a cashier, restaurant and a shop where you can rent all the equipment you need. Our PRO Fredrik Litzén is also around to offer a large selection of courses and lessons – Fredrik is also part of the Balance golf collaboration.
