Spend your winter break at Idre Fjäll in northern Dalarna and create unforgettable memories together. Enjoy skiing for all skill levels and other exciting activities such as dog sledding, snowmobile tours, and indoor activities.

The children’s Vasalopp offers the same wonderful atmosphere as the real Vasaloppet – and of course Aske will be there to cheer everyone on.The course runs around the ski stadium. It is easy to follow and clearly marked. There are different distances adapted to age and ability, and the children choose their distance on site. Here, everyone is a winner. After the race, each participant receives a diploma and a classic cup of blueberry soup.

Slalom race for children in Aske’s ski area. The easy course is suitable for children skiing green slopes. Aske leads the warm-up before the first start, presents the course, and cheers everyone on. The race consists of one run without timing. All participants are winners and receive a diploma.

Aske has lost his friends on the slopes. Help him find them and complete secret missions along the way. If we manage to find all his friends and complete their challenges, a surprise awaits at the end – and Aske will appear too. This is a parent-free activity for confident skiers in green and blue slopes.

On selected days each week, it is time for after ski just for the children. We gather at Torget, the square. Aske will of course be there too, ready for fun and dancing.
Winter break adventures
Join us for a ski touring adventure after the lifts have closed and experience the mountains in a new way. We hike up the slope using climbing skins and adapt the tour to the group and the snow conditions. You should be able to ski in blue and red slopes and preferably feel confident in off-piste terrain.

Start your day on freshly groomed slopes with exclusive skiing before the regular opening hours. Take the first turns in the Nordbackarna slopes and finish with breakfast at Pernilla Wiberg Hotel. A valid ski pass is required. You should be confident skiing red and black slopes and using a drag lift in steep terrain. Breakfast is included.
The children's favorite
Aske is Idre Fjäll’s cuddly reindeer who loves fun and play. He usually hangs out near the ski school area just below Restaurant Störröset, but you might spot him in other places too – so keep an eye out for Aske on the mountain!
