Summer break for the whole family

What is there to do for children at Idre Fjäll?

At Idre Fjäll, a summer holiday full of adventure, play, and activities for children of all ages awaits. Here, you can combine a mountain getaway with cycling, swimming, high ropes courses, and nature experiences for the whole family.

We have activities for everyone, especially our younger guests. No matter how you choose to spend the day, there are plenty of experiences that make the summer holiday extra memorable for the whole family.

Adventure for the whole family

High ropes or white-water rafting?

At Idre Fjäll, we offer plenty of fun activities for both adults and children. In the activity centre, you’ll find shuffleboard, an arcade, and bowling (or disco bowling for those who love to dance). In the activity area, you can take a refreshing dip in our outdoor pool surrounded by mountain views.

Looking for more adrenaline-filled adventures? Challenge each other on one of our three high ropes courses or work together to make your way through one of our white-water rafting experiences.

Summer Adventures with Aske

Aske is the children’s best friend in the mountains and loves adventures filled with laughter and fun. Together with Aske, the youngest children can experience Idre Fjäll in a safe and playful way. Fun moments and little adventures await, where children can discover the mountains at their own pace.

Aske loves running and cycling, and he also enjoys making new friends. Children eager to run can take part in the Kids’ Vasaloppet and meet Aske both at the start and the finish line. For children who enjoy cycling, there is also the opportunity to join the cycling race with Aske cheering them on.

Summer activities for teenagers in the mountains

For those who enjoy speed and great days outdoors, plenty of biking adventures await. Practice your technique and cornering skills in the pump track, or head out on mountain bike trails with varying levels of difficulty. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, there’s something for almost everyone who wants to get their heart rate up and challenge themselves downhill.

When it’s time to try something new, there are lots of activities to choose from. Climb the outdoor climbing wall, play padel with friends, or work out at the outdoor gym. If you enjoy team sports and fast-paced games, the sports hall is also available, where you can challenge each other in football and basketball (which can also be played outdoors). There’s always something to do here for anyone who wants to stay active all day long.
