Race Arena Alpine

Race Arena North offers ultimate training opportunities for both clubs and elite athletes in alpine and ski cross. With the season starting already in October, we provide a long and snow-secure training period.

Alpine training at Race Arena

Race Arena’s alpine training takes place in the self-timer area on the west side, in Västbacken – a blue/red slope with direct access to the Talliften ski lift.

Groups and elite athletes train twice daily, with sessions in the morning and afternoon, between 07.00–19.00. Each training course allows a maximum of 25 skiers. Equipment such as slalom poles and drill machines is available for rent.

All groups start from the parking area by Restaurant Charlie – follow the signs on site.

Ski cross training

At Idre Fjäll, we are proud to be an important venue for ski cross. With extensive experience in creating optimal conditions, we have hosted the Swedish World Cup competition several times.

The start date for the 2025 pre-season has not yet been determined.

Good to know

Alpine

Up to two training sessions per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The training fee is included if you book accommodation through us at Idre Fjäll.
Training hours are normally Monday–Thursday, 09:00–17:00, and Friday–Sunday, 07:00–19:00.
A maximum of 25 athletes per course and session. Small groups/clubs may be combined.
Before the training session ends, the course must be cleared and all gates removed.
Poles, a drill, and coaching assistance are available for rent.

How to book

Step 1

Book trasé

Book your training lane for 100 SEK per person and day.

Step 2

Book accommodation

Book accommodation via the link you received by email. Discounted ski passes are available as an add-on after you have booked your accommodation. You can only book ski passes for the number of guests staying in the cabin.

Step 3

Booking number

Send all booking numbers to us by email using the button below. We will deduct the training lane fee for the number of beds in the accommodation. The refund will be issued to the person who booked the training lane.
