Ski School for Everyone

Whether it’s your first time on skis, improving your cross-country technique, or trying tricks in the snowpark, Idre Fjäll has a ski school for you. Our experienced instructors guide you in groups or private lessons. We also offer special sessions, including coaching in our snowpark and adaptive skiing with sitski or dualski. Here it’s easy to discover the joy of learning – and the challenge that takes you further.

Ski school for children

Learning to ski should be an adventure. At Idre Fjäll we offer ski school for children from 2 years old, whether they are beginners or have skied before. We provide both group and private lessons, divided by age and skill level, so every child starts in the right group. This creates safety, community and better learning. When booking, please make a realistic assessment of your child’s level.

Do you want to learn to ski together with your child? This lesson is for those who want to give the youngest children a safe and playful start on skis – while also getting tools to support your child’s progress. You ski together, one adult and one child, guided by our skilled instructors.

Knatte

From the first run in the children’s area to adventures on blue and red slopes. Knatte comes in three levels to match each child’s individual progress. Always with play, fun, and caring instructors who help every child take the next step. Skiing should be fun to improve!

Patrull

From the first run in the children’s area to turns on black slopes. Patrull comes in four levels, adapted to the child’s experience. With play, exercises and adventures, we develop technique step by step in a safe and fun way. Here both confidence and joy of skiing grow – one turn at a time.

Skidliga

Whether you’ve just started skiing or want to refine your technique, there’s a group that suits you. We practice everything from button lifts and parallel turns to mastering steep terrain – always with a focus on community. We believe skiing should feel fun, challenging, and natural.

Snowboard

Learn to snowboard in a fun and safe way! Our experienced instructors help both beginners and advanced riders develop their technique, balance, and speed control. The snowboard school offers three levels, so everyone can progress at their own pace.

Give your child a fun and confidence-building experience on the slopes with a private lesson! With full attention from the instructor, the lesson is tailored to your child’s age, level and needs – whether it’s alpine skiing, snowboarding or cross-country. Special session – Snowpark

A special session for those who want to develop their skiing or snowboarding in the snowpark. Together with like-minded riders, you encourage each other to try new tricks. You should be able to ski or ride in control, turn both ways and use the button lift on your own.

For those who want to take their skiing or snowboarding to the next level. With joy, excitement, and challenges in focus, we train to improve your skills in all kinds of terrain – from the park to the piste and further out into the off-piste. The goal is for you to feel the joy of skiing and grow into a versatile rider.

Special session – Alpine gate training

Want to sharpen your skiing and feel the thrill of gate training? Try alpine race courses with a focus on technique, line choice, and timing. Learn how to plan your run and punch slalom gates like a pro. It’s fun – and it makes you a better skier. Skill requirement: Confident parallel skiing on a red slope.

Confident on most slopes but ready to level up? A ski coach is for skiers who want more control, flow and confidence. You'll be coached by one of our most experienced instructors – with personal video analysis to accelerate your progress.

Functional skiing

At Idre Fjäll, we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience the joy of skiing, regardless of their abilities. We offer functional skiing with sitskis for both alpine and cross-country, dualski, and other adaptive equipment. Thanks to our partnership with the Swedish Parasport Federation, we have good access to sitskis – making skiing more accessible to more people.

Important information

Group ski school is booked per person.
Private lessons are booked per session – same price regardless of the number of participants.
Most groups run from Monday to Friday, so search all these days for the best results.
Our two-day ski school runs from Friday to Saturday, perfect for those spending a long weekend with us.
Five-day ski school is held from Monday to Friday.
We reserve the right to merge groups or reduce the number of lessons if a group has three participants or fewer.
