Judo Camp at Idre Fjäll

June 29 – July 2

Judo Camp

Don’t miss Idre Fjäll’s popular judo camp this summer! An unforgettable experience awaits, where judo meets mountain adventure. The camp is led by top-class coaches with international competition experience.

Whether you’re coming on your own or bringing your family, there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy. Go hiking, cycling, challenge yourself on our high ropes course – and much more!

The Judo Camp 2026 takes place from Monday, June 29, to Thursday, July 2.

About the camp

Who is the camp for?

The Judo Camp 2026 is open to all ages from 8 years and up (born in 2018 or earlier).

The camp is suitable for both beginners and experienced judo practitioners who want to improve their skills.

Training sessions

The camp includes two judo sessions per day (one session on the last day), combining technique and randori. Participants will also have the opportunity to try some of Idre Fjäll’s activities, such as a high ropes course, cycling, or mini-golf.

Check out the event "Judo Camp at Idre Fjäll" on Facebook to stay updated.

Coach presentation

After last year’s strong lineup with Maria Gomez and four-time Olympian Marcus Nyman, Idre continues to bring world-class coaches to its summer camp – this time Mia Hermansson and Joakim Dvärby.

Mia Hermansson, an Olympian at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, has won several medals on the IJF World Tour, including silver at the Grand Prix in Zagreb and multiple bronze medals from Grand Prix and Grand Slam tournaments.

Joakim Dvärby, currently the sports director of the Swedish national team, has achieved several top results on the IJF World Tour and impressive fifth-place finishes at both the European Championships and the World Championships.

Both are not only former world-class athletes – they are also highly appreciated instructors and were a great success at the Norwegian Coaching Festival in 2025.

With Mia and Joakim, we can promise inspiring, high-energy and high-quality training sessions at this year’s judo camp.
