Leave the car behind and hop aboard Fjälltåget! Travel for free between the ski slopes and our cabin areas at Idre Fjäll. No ski pass needed.

Fjälltåget makes it easy to get around without having to load and unload the car. Here you'll find operating hours, stops and a live map showing where the train is right now, along with everything you need to know before your ride.

When does Fjälltåget run?

During winter, Fjälltåget takes you between accommodation areas, ski slopes and other locations around Idre Fjäll. You're welcome to bring your ski equipment, and pets can come along if space allows.

Days: Monday to Sunday

Fjälltåget doesn't follow a fixed timetable at each stop. Check the map to see where the train is right now.

Good to know before your ride

A few things to keep in mind before hopping aboard Fjälltåget:

Wait at one of Fjälltåget's designated stops and give the train room to pull in.

Follow the driver's instructions when getting on and off.

You're welcome to bring equipment such as skis and bikes on board.

Pets are welcome, subject to available space.
