Traditional stomp at Fäboden

Stop by Fäboden and try traditional stomp baked by a Easter witch. Stomp is traditionally fried over an open fire and is a local bread that has been baked in Idre for many many years.

We’re getting ready for Easter at Idre Fjäll with afterski at Torget and laid-back hangouts in Solbaren. Expect great food, good vibes and everything that makes Easter in the mountains something special. Solbaren is open 14.00–18.00 and afterski starts at 16.00.

During Easter, we’re also hosting afterski fun for our younger guests. Aske brings music, dancing and playful energy. The activity is free and no pre-registration is needed.

It’s not about winning – it’s about having fun on the slopes together. Choose your own opponent and add a handicap if you want to even the odds.

All participants have a chance to win a cabin weekend at Idre Fjäll, drawn after the race.

Children’s activities during Easter

Children’s Vasaloppet

Children’s Vasaloppet brings the same joyful spirit as the real race – and of course, Aske will be there to cheer the kids on! The course loops around the stadium, is easy to follow and well marked. There are several tracks to choose from, adapted for different ages and levels. Kids pick their track on site – and here, everyone’s a winner! After the race, each participant receives a diploma and a classic cup of blueberry soup.

Triumf Cup

Challenge each other in the Triumf Cup slalom race. Celebrate Easter with a fun slalom race for kids in Aske’s ski area. The easy course is perfect for children comfortable on green slopes. Aske leads the warm-up before the first start, shows the course and cheers everyone on. Each child gets one non-timed run – and everyone’s a winner with a diploma to take home.

Easter egg hunt

Welcome all easter-celebrating kids at Idre Fjäll. Help Aske find all the missing candy in the slopes! Put on your skis and join Aske on a hunt for the missing bags of candy.

Saturday April 4
Location - Väst 6:ans mid station (the large area used for ski school gatherings).
Time - 10.00-11.30.
Age - 4-12 years.
Drop-in.
Free of charge.

The activity replaces the Find Aske's Friends event Saturday April 4.

Easter adventures

Head Session

Come down to the Head session and show off your tricks. It will be a fun competition with 3 jumps and several other features, giving you plenty of time to show what you can do. At the end of the session, we will hand out neck warmers and prizes to riders who have showcased their tricks.

Easter adventures

Morning skiing

Start your day on freshly groomed slopes – with exclusive access before regular opening hours. Take the first turns in the Nordbackarna and finish with breakfast at Pernilla Wiberg Hotel.

You’ll need a valid ski pass and should be comfortable on red/black slopes and in steep T-bar lifts. Breakfast is included.

Ski touring

Join us for a ski touring adventure after the lifts have closed and experience the mountains in a whole new way! We’ll climb up the slope using climbing skins, and adjust the tour to suit the group and current snow conditions. You should be comfortable skiing on green and red slopes, and preferably also in ungroomed terrain.
