Aske invites kids up to 12 to a cross-country ski race, inspired by Vasaloppet. Experience the excitement and chilly cheeks at the Children's Vasaloppet. Aske cheers with parents, on easy, well-marked courses around the stadium. Choose your track based on age and skill. Every participant wins, earning a diploma and blueberry soup. Recommended for kids up to 12 yrs.

Giant Slalom competition in upper Västbacken. Compete against mom, dad, siblings or friends in the self-timer course. All participants ski twice and try to get as equal time as possible. We compete in three classes – children, youth and adults.

Children's slalom race at Familjebacken. The course, suitable for kids who can ski green slopes, is simple and inspiring. Aske will lead the warm-up, show the course, and cheer on. The race consists of one run without timing. Every participant is a winner and receives a diploma.

Join us on a ski touring hike at the resort. At first we try on the equipment and go through how it works. When reaching the top (with our skins on) we treat ourselves to a hot drink before locking the bindings and starting the descent.
To join you are expected to master blue/red slopes and uneven terrain. From age 16.
Included: skis, poles, ski boots (in sizes 23,5 – 31,5 cm), skins, and head lamp.
Bring: Backpack with snacks, extra clothes and something to drink, preferably hot.

Be the first on the slopes! Join our instructors for pristine runs in untouched slopes. We ski in the North slopes, so you must be comfortable with red/black slopes and T-bar lifts in black terrain. After the skiing we enjoy a delicious breakfast indoors. Please note! You need a valid ski pass to join this activity.

Ride for free between your cabin and the ski lift
Leave the car and hop on Idre Fjäll's mountain train. You ride for free between the ski area and our accommodations at Idre Fjäll. The mountain train is a convenient way to get around the mountain without having to pack in and out of the car. Of course, you can bring your skis or bikes with you! Dogs are also welcome onboard the train (if there's enough space). The mountain train operates during both the winter and summer seasons.
