Tips to our guests

Here is some useful tips and information when you are here. 

Check-in

Cabins/apartments:

Check-in is from 15.00 or 16.00 depending on your accommodation, see your booking confirmation. 

Check-in in high season:

Weeks 51-52: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 1: Wednesday Thursday
Weeks 2-6: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
Weeks 7-9: Saturday, Sunday
Week 10-13: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 14: Saturday, Sunday

Check-in takes place in the check-in house right at the entrance to Idre Fjäll from Bergevägen. The check-in house is open between 15.00 and 19.00 on the days mentioned above. For arrivals after opening hours, envelopes are placed in the key box at the bus stop, which is located directly to the right after the bridge up by Torget. See the sign "Nycklar kvällstid / Keys evening time".

Check-in at other times:

On other days, check-in takes place at the reception at Torget. For arrivals after opening hours, envelopes are placed in the key box at the bus stop, which is located directly to the right after the bridge up by Torget. See the sign "Nycklar kvällstid / Keys evening time".

Pernilla Wiberg Hotel:

Check-in from 15.30 (3.30 pm). When reception is closed, your key is in the designated key box outside the hotel entrance.

Camping:

Check-in from 16:00 (4 pm). Check-in at Camping Renen is only via text message sent to the phone number specified when booking, if you have any questions please contact the reception.

Groups:

Check-in from 16.00 (4 pm) at the reception. A maximum of one contact person per group is welcome to pick up lift passes, track passes and food tickets etc at the reception. 

Check-out

Cabins/apartments:

Check-out no later than 10:00 am. You check out by leaving your keys in one of the key boxes opposite the bus stop near the square, directly to the right before the bridge.

Pernilla Wiberg Hotel:

Check out no later than 11.00 am in the reception.

Camping:

Check-out no later than 12.00.To check out, please follow the instructions in the text message that is sent out.

  • Floor (always finish the cleaning procedure with the floor)

PLEASE NOTE: If you have booked final cleaning - only check the underlined dot ́s points.

Cleaning advice before departure

  1. Clean mirrors and windows if needed with a dry or damp micro cloth. Swab fridge, benches, draws, tables etc. One capsule of cleansing liquid to half a bucket of lukewarm water. Finish by wiping the bathroom, clean the toilet last. Put used micro cloth inside the front door.
  2. Place the fan filter soaked in hot water in the sink, use one capsule of dish soap to a full sink. Put it back when it is dry.
  3. Clean the oven and oven trays – use the dishcloth and dish brush with hot water and dish soap. Throw the dishcloth in the combustible gar- bage bin. Clean the floor drains in the shower and sauna with the dish brush, remove hair. Throw the dish brush in the combustible garbage bin.
  4. Vacuum beds, sofas (remember to vacuum underneath as well), armchairs and floors.
  5. Swab the floors with a mop. Put the used mop inside the front door.
  6. Sort waste and throw them at the recycling station.
  7. Clean the fireplace. If the ash is hot, leave it. Do not use the vacuum cleaner in the fireplace! Throw the ashes into special containers at the recycling station.

Check the following:

  • The freezer and fridge is on
  • All windows and doors are closed
  • All bedclothes are folded and placed on the beds
  • All the garbage is sorted. Garbage bin are emptied, cleaned and restored*
  • All rented bed linen are folded and placed inside the front door

Energy efficiency tips!

In our work with the vision "Idre Fjäll 2037 – a future closer to nature", environmental work is an important part, and today that is more relevant than ever. Before the upcoming winter season, we at Idre Fjäll have implemented several measures to reduce unnecessary energy consumption, but we need your help too!

Here are some tips for you as a guest so that you also can join in and contribute to making the mountain more energy efficient this winter:

  • Do not place furniture or bags in front of the elements.
  • Turn off products that are in stand-by mode when not in use. Unplug!
  • Keep the indoor temperature at a maximum of 20 degrees.
  • Weather smart! If you need to ventilate – open a lot and ventilate for a short time rather than a little venting for a long time. In the meantime, turn off the thermostats on the elements.
  • Take a shorter shower - if you cut your shower time in half, you will also cut energy and water consumption in half.
  • Wash in the dishwasher and avoid rinsing the dishes beforehand. Choose the eco program if available. Did you know that washing by hand uses up to four times as much energy as washing in a machine?
  • Do not leave the sauna unused. Use the time well!

Charging of electric car

  • It is not permitted to charge electric cars in the engine heater's socket and absolutely forbidden to charge via wall sockets inside the accommodation.
  • All charging of electric cars must be done at accommodation with designated chargers or in the car parks within Idre Fjäll where charging of electric cars is offered.
  • The guest must comply with the regulations that apply to the cabin/apartment regarding charging electric cars. Any violations will be punished. Violation is charged an amount of SEK 2,000.
    Every instance of violation is documented.

Health care

Medical Office Idre Fjäll

The Medical Office at the Ski Stadium at Idre Fjäll is open Friday - Sunday 8.00-09.00 and 16.00-17.00.

Bike patrol

In case of accidents, contact the nearest Idre Fjäll staff member and they will call our bike patrol.
