To access all of our cycling trails, you will need to purchase a trail pass. If you also want to use the lifts, you will need a combined lift and trail pass. Idre Fjäll is a foundation, and we reinvest all the revenue into our operations. Every year, we make significant investments in maintaining the cycling trails and developing even more amazing cycling experiences for you. Together, we create a sustainable cycling experience in a fantastic mountain environment!

Enjoy fantastic mountain biking at Idre Fjäll among mountain peaks and beautiful views in summer and autumn. Here you get to experience cycling with an extra dimension. We are constantly working to improve our trails to give you the best possible experience.

1 or 10,000 hours in the saddle? We have cycling for all levels. Additionally, there are bike courses with experienced instructors to book if you want to develop your skills and become even better.

Green trails

Akka

Our new green trail, starting at Västtoppen and winding down to Skills area. Here you'll get some of the best views of the mountain, towards Städjan, Burusjön, and Nipfjället. Akka is a lovely flow trail for the whole family, with a total of 5 picturesque rest areas with benches, for those who want to take in the views. Perfect for beginners and leisurely riders! Do you recognize the name? Akka is named after the famous goose in "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils", who passed over Städjan. About 2 km (5 km when fully opened).

Fjället runt

Fjället runt is a green trail that consisting of a dirt road that takes you all the way around the mountain. It has one steeper downhill and a few easier uphill. Our blue trails around the mountain start and come back to this trail and you always have the possibility to take any of them for a different adventure. Fjället runt offers fantastic scenery and beautiful nature.

Killivippen

Kilivippen is a wonderful trail that winds between roller ski tracks and horse paddocks and offers a fantastic view of Städjan. Here you can challenge your balance or overcome your fear of boardwalks on two different sections. Choose between a wide or narrow boardwalk. Kilivippen also offers some other small surprises before it ends just below our Skills Area.

Tut tut

If you have bell on your bike it’s encouraged to use it here! Tut tut winds down through our main ski slope and offers a handmade trail with a lot of flow and a few smaller drops that you can choose to roll over or jump from, depending on your speed.

Gondoljären

Gondoljären is the trail that connects the valley stations of Väst6 and Sydgondolen. The trail winds through diverse and challenging terrain, with several bridges and boardwalks that help navigate through different surfaces. Additionally, there are two resting areas along the way, providing opportunities for relaxation and recovery.

Blue trails

Alla kan

In Swedish “alla kan” means” everyone can” and as the name suggests, this is a trail that everyone can manage. As soon as you can control your breaks. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, if you’re a beginner or an experienced biker. This is a flowy path that winds through the forest, down and back and forth and over some rollers and a few small stone drops. Even here you can choose to roll over the drops without jumping them.

Askeleden

A paradise of banked corners! You need to have good control of your bike and breaks to bike here. Askeleden is a fun trail with a lot of flow. At the food of Askeleden you have the chairlift Väst 6:an that takes you and your bike back to the top for another speedy ride.

Jippi

Jippi is the icing on the cake, a fun continuation to Alla kan, just cross the growl road and continue to fly over rollers, stone chests, smaller drops and banked corners on handmade trails. Or choose to bike slower, enjoy the nature and stop at the rest area to refill some energy.

Ner ska du – blå

Ner ska du – blå is a blue trail that offers fun banked corners, rollers, bridges, shorter stone parts and an adrenaline rush you’ll want more of! This trail is suitable both for kids as well as adults. You need to have control over your bike and breaks. The level is for medium to advanced rider.

Norrskogen

“The northern forest” proves that cycling uphill can be fun. The track winds uphill, back and forth and in the blink of an eye you’re up. The reward is a shorter part with a flowy trail downhill before it flattens out again. Out of energy? Take a break at the rest area and get some energy from looking at the scenery over the mountain Städjan.

Ostkroken

Ostkroken is our newest addition to Fjället runt. It starts at Ost6:an and goes from Alla Kan to Norrskogen. This is a really lovely blue trail, meandering through the old forest in Ost. Here you'll find bridges and longer stretches of boardwalk. The trail passes by a beautiful spring, so take the opportunity to stop and enjoy for a while. Ostkroken also offers a beautiful view of Städjan. This is a varied trail for both pleasure riders and those who like speed. Approximately 2 km.

Pappas nya

Starting from Askeleden at Askes Grillplats, Pappas Nya is an exciting and diverse bike trail. Here, you'll encounter big turns, boardwalks, and impressive high berms. The trail's design caters to both advanced cyclists and those looking to take on new challenges. With a mix of technical and varied sections, Pappas Nya is a perfect trail to test and develop your biking skills. Take on the big, high turns and be amazed by the versatility that this trail has to offer.

Slättvåla runt

Our newest trail that has already had a soft opening. Slättvåla runt is a machine-built flow trail over 6km long, signed by former professional cyclist Andreas Danielsson. The trail winds through a beautiful area of untouched pine forest, perfect for those who enjoy experiencing nature from the saddle of a bike. Of course, there are some well-chosen rest areas for those who want to take a break, and of course, we have spiced up the trail with some fun content for those who want extra excitement. The trail is graded as blue and a possible extension of Fjället runt.

Upp ska du

Are you looking for a good workout that gives you a high pulse? Then this is the perfect place, just speed up the pace. With a calmer pace this trail offers a way to get up the mountain with a lot of long curves that goes back and forth. Between the turns there are some challenges for your balance that you can choose to bike up on or not if you don’t want to.

Voest

A scenic bike trail that stretches from west to east, offering a varied and entertaining experience. With gentle turns and a slightly flatter start, Voest provides a fantastic view. Here, you can enjoy a scenic ride through the landscape while challenging your cycling skills. The trail's larger turns require a bit more experience, giving you an opportunity to develop and take on new challenges.

Toppleden

Toppleden is a true challenge that takes you from the Skills Area to the top of the mountain. With steep uphill sections and passing by the snow piles, this trail is demanding and challenging. It truly puts your skills to the test and rewards you with an impressive view once you reach the top.

Skaschptrollens stig

Skaschptrollens stig or trail is a truly enjoyable and smooth route for everyone to cycle that enjoy flow. At the end of the trail, you can choose to turn towards Nästet and Stadium or take our newly renovated Killivippen back up to the Skills Area where you started.

Red Trails

Flajlajn

Flajlajn is an exciting and adrenaline-filled bike trail that challenges even the most experienced cyclists. With impressive jumps and landings, this advanced trail is not suitable for beginners. Here, you have the opportunity to test your technical skills and aerial abilities through big jumps and precision landings. Flajlajn is a perfect challenge for cyclists seeking a real adrenaline rush and wanting to take their biking to new heights.

Alla kan - Red

If "Alla kan - Blue" is a flow party, this is a real disco! Fantastic velodrome curves and flowing trail, mixed with technical surprises, rock drops, messy sections and a proper adrenaline rush! This trail is suitable for the intermediate rider who has good control over the bike, knows how to use the brakes well and wants to challenge themselves. The trail is also perfect for the advanced rider who seeks a challenge, adrenaline rush and likes to jump.

We want to issue a warning! It's easy to get stuck here - for hours. The skills area is the place where everyone, regardless of age or experience, gathers to develop their cycling skills. Here you'll find a pump track, balance training, cornering practice, and three jump lines - green, blue, and red.

Get used to ride a mountainbike by going over logs and small jumps to improve your technical skills before you´re off to our trails. This is a easy and great start for building confident to ride our trails in a safe and fun way.

Jump line - green and blue

Dare to try to jump with your mountainbike! The blue and green jump line is a great start!

Jump line - red

The red jump line is our most technical jump line. When you´re confident with the green and blue line then it´s time to try the red! Go jump!

Dual slalom

Two trails that run parallel to one another. Doubletrack trails allow riders to ride side-by-side.

This is a technical trail feature where the trail’s elevation changes at a steep enough angle so that your front tire cannot easily roll down to the lower elevation. Tip! Take a bike leasson to learn more about how to ride our drop-zone.

Pumptrack

Our pump track has an area of approximately 1,500 square meters and is about 200 meters long, filled with wonderful bumps and turns for those who love to pump their way around. And yes, we've also thought of those who love to fly because the first section has double jump lines. Our pump track is calibrated to handle a competition, but it is primarily graded for those who are at a blue/red level.

Before You Set Off

SLAO (Svenska Skidanläggningars Organisation) is an organization that represents ski resorts and bike parks in Sweden. They have established certain rules and guidelines to promote safety and enjoyment for visitors using lifts and bike trails in the facilities. Here is a summary of the information:

  1. Cycling is undertaken at your own risk.
  2. Use a helmet - it is mandatory.
  3. Ensure that your bike is well-maintained for a safer and more enjoyable riding experience.
  4. Hire a guide or instructor to reduce the risk of accidents.
  5. Lock your bike to prevent theft, even when you're out in the terrain.
  6. Be careful not to drop your bike or other equipment when riding on chairlifts.
  7. Improve your fitness and strength before the season to reduce the risk of fatigue-related accidents.
  8. Show consideration for children who may make sudden and unexpected movements.
  9. The bike patrol works for your safety and enjoyment.
  10. If you lose track of each other, contact the staff for assistance.
